What is Ignite Inclusion?

Our Ignite Inclusion Leadership Initiative is a training workshop that will help your leaders grow  professionally and personally by embracing the benefits of diversity and inclusion. We do this by helping each individual gain self-awareness of their internal biases, examine their knowledge of other cultures, and build skills to better honor and celebrate differences.

When individual team members are empowered in this personal development, it reflects positively on the entire team and organizational culture.

Some topics that may be covered in this training include:

  • Unconscious biases: Biases we may not be aware of cause us to make subconscious judgments about others without realizing it.
  • Marginalized groups: Identifying groups that do not enjoy the same privileges as others in society.
  • Empathy: The practice of imagining what someone else is feeling or experiencing.
  • Privilege: Exploring the systemic forces that favor, enrich, or validate certain groups over others.

What Makes Monarch Different

Many companies are implementing diversity initiatives to foster understanding among their employees and customers. Unlike other workshops that only address these topics on the surface, Monarch’s curriculum is an in-depth initiative that focuses on lasting change.

Our team partners with your organization to examine the existing culture and customize the training to your team’s specific needs.

Every curriculum we develop and teach is customized because every team has different needs. Monarch’s development  is best suited for organizations that want to make lasting changes in diversity and inclusion.

What to expect for your Ignite Inclusion Leadership Initiative

When you choose Monarch, our first step is facilitating a conversation about these critical and deeply personal topics. By establishing the team’s self-awareness on topics like racism, discrimination, diversity, and equality, we tailor the rest of the training to the gaps in your organization’s culture.

Over the course of your leadership initiative, your team will practice relevant key scenarios, participate in open dialogues, and build actionable skills. We’ll also work directly with organizational leaders to make sure the positive culture changes are supported in the future.

At Monarch, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all training. We are facilitators of knowledge that will help your team embrace diversity and ignite inclusion.

Thank you so much. I appreciate the specific feedback and advice on helping a valuable banker be the best he can be, while at the same time working to get to the next level. I can’t tell you how much your coaching has helped me in every aspect of my life, not just my career. I’m certain my peers would say the same you are the best!

Grateful, I appreciate the value and effectiveness of the communication workshop; I made significant progress in managing my fear of public speaking. The part I liked most was the safe place with workshop became to practice speaking, when their was significant anxiety at the start of the workshop.

Thank you! It has been a wonderful experience working with you. I know everyone feels the same way for that matter! You were able to coach up or out! You identified so many things our leaders need to continue to work on, pushed our new advisor out of his comfort zone and the true value was identifying that our manager is just done. We could stand on our heads each day and there is no pulling her back or changing that path. So, in my humble opinion, the coaching out was far more beneficial than all the other coaching put together. We have tended to ignore it and hope she wakes up to smell the coffee burning, instead of addressing it full on! You gave me the words, questions, guidance, and confidence to have that conversation with her in the past, this situation might have been turned into a tension filled atmosphere. I cannot be more grateful.
