Bank Leadership Training and Coaching to Challenge your Assumptions and Foster Change

Our Assumptions-Focused Financial Leadership Training Can Be a Game-Changer

Bank Leadership Training to Change Mindsets in Your Organization

Customized bank leadership coaching by Monarch explores the cost of making assumptions

What are Costly Assumptions?

In our Costly Assumptions Bank Leadership Initiative, we explore the impact of assumptions from a leadership perspective and the costly impact to your organization. As leaders, how do you pause before acting to test how your assumptions affect your behavior? Our customized approach starts with self-examination by leaders and is guided by their specific needs.

An assumption is a theory, usually based on personal perceptions, that can inhibit personal growth. We believe that personal development is integral to building a solid organizational culture.

So what are these costly assumptions, and why are they dangerous?

  • Assumptions can hide the truth of a situation. Often, assumptions are based on a “truth” that isn’t actually true.
  • Assumptions inhibit growth. If you are always focused on the past, forward-thinking can be challenging.
  • Assumptions can damage relationships. When you’ve already created a “story” of the situation in your mind, it’s hard to listen to alternate perspectives.
  • Assumptions lead to a feeling of helplessness. If you cast yourself as the victim in a scenario, you take away your own power.

The Monarch Performance Group Difference

Organizational bank leadership coaching by Monarch is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Unlike other training workshops that may only last for a day or even an hour, Monarch Performance Group builds a customized curriculum that addresses your leader’s specific needs. Over the course of your leadership initiative, our team will continuously refine the curriculum based on the performance gaps and work towards behavioral changes to enhance leaders’ personal and professional development.

This training produces lasting positive results for team member relationships and the business as a whole.

What to expect for your Costly Assumptions Bank Leadership Initiative

The first step is always self-discovery. We lead open discussions about the kinds of assumptions that are being made, sometimes subconsciously, by employees and leaders alike. By discovering your assumptions, leaders will incorporate new skills to overcome them.

As the initiative progresses, we’ll examine how these assumptions can hinder personal and organizational growth. You’ll identify trends of the most common assumptions, practice scenarios of these assumptions, and build the skills to overcome them. Your organizational culture will thrive when everyone operates from a place of truth rather than assumption.

At Monarch, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all bank leadership training. We are facilitators of knowledge that will help your team stop assuming and start communicating clearly.

Great workshop! It was very interactive and the practice sessions really pushed us out of our comfort
zones, Which will definitely help us in the future. | have a lot of good takeaways to put into place.

Thank you! It has been a wonderful experience working with you. I know everyone feels the same way for that matter! You were able to coach up or out! You identified so many things our leaders need to continue to work on, pushed our new advisor out of his comfort zone and the true value was identifying that our manager is just done. We could stand on our heads each day and there is no pulling her back or changing that path. So, in my humble opinion, the coaching out was far more beneficial than all the other coaching put together. We have tended to ignore it and hope she wakes up to smell the coffee burning, instead of addressing it full on! You gave me the words, questions, guidance, and confidence to have that conversation with her in the past, this situation might have been turned into a tension filled atmosphere. I cannot be more grateful.
